BCH is in search of a team-oriented, customer-focused Dietary Aide to join our Bistro team! The Dietary Aide provides nutritionally approved meals to inpatients and outpatients while also serving meals to BCH employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates knowledge of kitchen equipment use and maintenance
- Demonstrates knowledge of food preparation
- Demonstrates ability to record temperatures of food, refrigerators, freezers, and dish machine
- Demonstrates ability to accurately measure ingredients
- Demonstrate the ability to perform the various tasks relating to the retail operation: Grill cooking, fryer, salad and cold plate preparation and operate cash register
- Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and able to complete task in a timely fashion.
- Demonstrates knowledge of appropriate infection control guidelines and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
