Bio

Glen Dobbs is a Physician Assistant with over 25 years of experience specializing in ear, nose, and throat care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from The Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia, now known as the Radford University Physician Assistant Program.

Glen spent 24 years practicing in Alleghany County, Virginia, alongside Dr. Paul Strausbaugh, and most recently worked with LewisGale Physicians ENT, serving patients in Alleghany County and Blacksburg, Virginia.

His clinical experience includes evaluating and treating nasal and sinus conditions such as acute and chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, allergies, and smell disorders. He also treats diseases of the mouth and throat including infections, swallowing disorders, voice dysfunction, and taste disorders, as well as inner and outer ear infections, hearing loss, dizziness, disorders affecting the skin of the head and neck, and neck masses. Glen is experienced in managing anterior nosebleeds, removing earwax and foreign bodies, and performing nasal and laryngeal endoscopy for evaluation of the nose and throat. He also orders and interprets diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies for disorders of the head and neck.

Outside of work, Glen enjoys spending time with family and friends and participating in outdoor activities such as swimming, kayaking, hunting, and playing golf. He also attends and serves at Edgemont ARP Church in Covington, Virginia.
