Medical Assistant-Full Time

 

Details:

  • Greets patient and obtains height, weight, and vital signs, then escorts them to an exam room. Properly prepares the patient for the examination
  • Records details of chief complaint, review of systems, past medical history, social history, family medical history, disease risk factors
  • Obtains or updates list of medications and allergies including the reaction
  • Submits/performs orders as desired under direction/supervision of medical provider
  • Tracks the orders for each patient, records results, and notifies provider of results as they arrive within the electronic health record system utilizing tracking system

Human Resources Assistant- Full Time

Details:

  • Provide administrative support with clerical functions to Executive Director of Human Resources
  • Conduct new hire paperwork process and set up new employees in HR system, which includes inputting benefits and rates for new hires, completing background check, sanction check, Benefit First, New Hire Reporting, Principal
  • Maintain the monthly recognition program by assisting with emails and completing the board monthly
  • Data entry – maintain all personnel information and changes in the HRIS system.
  • Terminate any employee in all systems as soon as possible also contact the necessary managers in order for this to be done properly

Pharmacist – PRN

Details:
• Reviews prescriptions issued by physicians or other authorized prescribers to assure dose accuracy and medication and /or ingredients needed
• Compounds medications using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring and mixing ingredients
• Monitors all posting onto the patient profiles in order that accuracy, drug allergies, drug interactions, duplicate therapy, rational drug therapy and incompatibilities may be realized and better patient care received
• Answers questions and provides information to physicians, nurses, patients and other health care professionals on the appropriate use of medications, drug interactions, side effects, dosage, storage, etc.
• Assists in teaching (Departmental Medical, Nursing, Community)
• Ensures the maintenance and proper operation of equipment and supplies in the work areas
• Maintains established procedures concerning quality control, security or controlled substances and disposal of hazardous waste
• Reviews and monitors drug therapy that requires dosing adjustments as authorized by the physician.

Details:
• Oversees patient meals and the Bistro
• With the guidance of the Dietitian provide nutritionally approved meals to inpatients and outpatients

• Maintains dietary expenses within budgeted limits. Keeps on-going records of department expenditures and provides financial records and cost reports to the Director and Accounting

Details:
• Cleans and services building areas according to established procedures
• Moves furniture, equipment and supplies in and around facility
• Cleans assigned areas by washing furniture, tile, fixtures and equipment with germicidal cleaning solutions.
• Mops and buffs floor areas, vacuums carpets, spot cleans floors and carpets, using appropriate solutions and arranges furniture and equipment back in an orderly fashion after cleaning assigned area

Polysomnographic Technologist (Sleep Study)PRN

Details:
• Provides easy to understand directions to patient and orients patient to sleep center/room. Explains pre-testing, testing and post testing procedures to the patient.
• Is able to prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustment as necessary.
• Demonstrates ability to apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards.
• Performs appropriate physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals and make adjustments as necessary.
• Demonstrates knowledge and ability to follow protocols (such as PAP and oxygen titration, etc for the collection of appropriate data).
• Performs data acquisition while study-tracing quality, to ensure adequate signals are artifact free. Has ability to make appropriate adjustments.
• Provides documentation for routine observation of sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedures and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.
• Has ability to implement appropriate interventions ( including actions necessary for patient safety and therapeutic intervention such as continuous and bi-level positive airway pressure, oxygen administration, etc).

Details:
• Administers respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of cardiopulmonary system.

Revenue Integrity Analyst – Full Time

Details:
• Works with Managers of Revenue generating departments to ensure services are appropriately, accurately and consistently accounted for daily and deductions from revenues are minimized. This will be accomplished through a thorough knowledge and accurate set up of the Charge Master, regular charge audits, knowledge of governmental regulations and other payor contract requirements followed by ongoing communication and training.
• Design, plan, organize, and direct orientation programs for employees in Revenue and Documentation Integrity, specifically around requirements based upon the following: National Coverage Determination (NCD), Local Coverage Determination (LCD), Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) and Additional Documentation Requests (ADR) as well as other process and policy documentation requirements and improvements.
• Determine training needs through charge audits, surveys, interviews with employees, or consultation with managers
• Work with Managers to obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials for charge capture and daily audit routines using resources like the CMS Learning Center as appropriate.

Details:

  • Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations.
  • Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.
  • Uses independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings.
  • Analyses sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information and medical history, and communicates findings to the appropriate physician.
  • Coordinates work schedule with Departmental Director and/or scheduling desk to assure workload coverage.
  • Assumes responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients while they are in the sonographer’s care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) (required)
  • ECHO certification (required)

Details:

  • Responsible for the safe transportation of non-ambulatory patients to and from medical facilities
