Angelita D’Arpa Hansford, PA-C, WCC, DWC joins Bath Community Physicians Group

Bath Community Physicians Group is pleased to announce the addition of Angelita D’Arpa Hansford to their team of healthcare professionals. With years of experience as a Physician Assistant at Carilion Clinic and Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital, formerly Stonewall Jackson Hospital, Angelita brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the practice.

Angelita completed a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, VA in 2012, and has pursued Skin & Wound and Diabetic Wound studies at the Wound Care Institutes in Irvine, Texas, and Chicago, Illinois.

“Angelita’s experience in the areas of complex wounds and general surgery will complement our already strong clinical team,” states Bath Community Hospital CEO, Jeff Lingerfelt. “I am excited that she will be joining Bath Community Physicians Group.”

Hansford and her husband Alan, a native of Bath County, are raising two children in the Alleghany Highlands. Angelita looks forward to joining an exceptional healthcare team to deliver quality care to the region.
