Richmond, VA – Kathy Landreth, CEO of Bath Community Hospital was appointed to the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association Board of Directors earlier this month. The Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association selects leaders from healthcare organizations throughout the Commonwealth who are able to help them achieve their vision of improving health care safety, quality, value and service; and, aligning forces among health care and business entities to advance health and economic opportunity for all Virginians.
Prior to joining Bath Community Hospital in 2014, Landreth spent 25 years of her career with the Carilion Clinic system holding various leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. As a leader who focuses on developing strategic alliances and partnerships, Landreth is looking forward to providing guidance to the VHHA on rural health issues facing the communities BCH’s serves. “Being on this board provides me an opportunity to network with other leaders in healthcare who are facing the same challenges as our hospital. Forming these partnerships and utilization of these resources is a huge asset for this community”, said Landreth.
Landreth is also a member of the DSLCC Foundation Board of Directors, the Virginia Healthcare Advisory Board, and a member of the American College for Healthcare Executives as well as the Virginia Rural Health Association.
